Most of our products are used, vintage or collectable photographic equipment. Cosmetic condition can vary considerably, so we use the following general guide to help describe items consistently.
Excellent
Very clean overall condition with only light signs of previous use. Any marks or wear should be minor.
Very Good
Good overall condition with normal signs of use. There may be light marks, rubbing or small cosmetic imperfections, but the item should still present well.
Good
Clearly used, with more noticeable cosmetic wear such as scratches, rubbing, paint loss or other age-related marks. The item may look well used but should still be accurately represented in the photographs and description.
Fair
Heavier cosmetic wear or signs of age and use. There may be significant marks, scratches, paint loss, dents or other imperfections. Please review the photographs and description carefully.
For parts / repair
An item described as for parts, repair or spares may be incomplete, damaged or not fully functional. These items are sold on that basis and the listing should be read carefully before purchase.
Photographs and descriptions
We photograph individual used items wherever possible, so the photographs form an important part of the description. Please review all available images before ordering.
Any notable cosmetic damage, missing accessories or other important points that we are aware of will normally be shown in the photographs or mentioned in the product description.
Testing and functionality
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, no particular level of technical testing should be assumed.
Where we have confirmed a specific function or carried out a particular check, this may be stated in the individual product listing.
For older, vintage or collectable equipment, age-related behaviour and limitations should be expected.
Accessories
Only accessories shown in the photographs or specifically mentioned in the product description should be assumed to be included.
